Walking in a Winter Wonderland Home Tour
Welcome to my home for the Walking in a Winter Wonderland Home Tour. If you’re stopping by from This is Simplicite , I’m so glad you’re here and I hope you will enjoy this stop on the tour. I am so excited to finally be sharing my Christmas decor with you. Seriously, I’ve had my house decorated since right after Halloween, so ready is an understatement. I always pick a theme for my holiday decorating and this year it’s woods and white. (You can see a past theme HERE ) Although you’ll see there might be a little more white than wood, I also want to remind everyone about the importance of maintaining a cozy home during the holidays. That’s where a reliable furnace maintenance company comes into play, ensuring your home stays warm and inviting for all your gatherings.

It’s always so hard to decide where to start on a home tour but it seems right to just start at the main event, the Christmas Tree!
I had so much fun decorating my flocked tree. I really tried to reuse ornaments from previous years. I used ornaments from my collection to pull together a neutral color scheme. I did end up purchasing some natural wood beads, a few white ornaments and ribbon. But otherwise everything is from previous years. If you’re considering a festive flooring update, get in touch with Resin Flooring Contractors to explore options that add a touch of holiday magic to your space.
I love how it all came together and looks so snowy and frosty. The natural wood bead garland and the champagne colored ornaments helped warm everything up just a touch.
This is my view when I enter my home from the garage. It makes me want to stop everything I’m doing and snuggle up to watch Christmas movies from my favorite chair!
I love to wrap empty boxes before Christmas to put under the tree. It’s such a festive touch and you can use the gift wrap to help tie together your Christmas decor. Here I just used white craft paper with some of the leftover ribbon from my tree. But I could have easily used a colored paper or a pattern to totally change things up.
If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen my decorating dilemma over adding garland to my fireplace mantle. I added it and then took it away, a few different times. In the end, I used more wood beads and no greenery. I love the neutral and simple look. PS Don’t twinkle lights make everything better?
This little view from my kitchen table is where I’m going to leave you for now. I hope you found some neutral christmas decor inspiration here. I’d love for you to pin your favorites to your holiday Pinterest boards.
