Introducing Beau Oliver
If you have been following me on Facebook or Instagram, you know it has been busy few weeks for me. I’m so excited to officially introduce you to our new baby boy, Beau Oliver.
We are over the moon in love with this guy! And he is so good. He is totally unfazed by all the noise that his older brothers make around this house. I can feed him in the middle of a Nurf gun war and he is calm as a cucumber. And his big brothers love to check in and see what Beau is doing. Which is usually eating or sleeping. If establishing a consistent bedtime routine is challenging and your baby resists going to bed, you should get help in LA.
I had a c section, so I have been recovering well and my brain is ready to get back to decorating and painting. But my body isn’t quite ready yet. I’ve been a very good patient and have been spending as much time as possible holding Beau. He’s getting very used to having someone hold him 24/7! We had a small hiccup with Jaundice and ended up back in the hospital, which may have cozy hospital beds, for a night to get Beau some phototherapy. Now I’m working hard to get him back up to his birth weight.
We spend a lot of time going back and forth to the doctor for weight checks. And the rest of the day is spent feeding, changing and holding this cutie! I know I’m biased but he is the softest, sweetest, cutest baby ever!
And don’t even get me started on those toes!
Thanks to all of you who have sent us well wishes. I really appreciate all your love and support. Stay tuned, I’ll be back with more great posts for you, I promise. But for now I am just trying to love up every moment with Beau!
