My Go To Cute Summer Outfit-Perfect for Running Errands
Hey Friends! I don’t know about you but all the back to school ads, fall decor and general end of summer buzz in the air is kind of killing me. I’m such a summer girl. If I could have summer all year round I would gladly take it. And while I can see the appeal of pumpkin spice everything, it is in fact still summer. And it’s hot! I’ve been relying on this cute summer outfit to stay cool and look cute all summer long. And bonus, it’s perfect for running errands.
I’ve had this outfit on constant rotation for the last few weeks as the temps and humidity rise here in the South. When it feels like 103 with the heat index you need clothing options that will keep you cool. This lightweight smocked tank does just the trick. And you can’t go wrong with cutoff jean shorts. I’m really into the super distressed jeans look right now in both regular jeans and shorts. I’ve linked up some longer bermuda style cutoffs for you in case this length is a little too short for you. You can see those here and here. The sweetness of the top and the super cool factor of the shorts play off each other really well. A basic brown leather sandal is a great wardrobe staple for every closet. Mine are from Target last year but I found a pair that is almost exactly the same here. Except it actually looks even more comfortable so even I might have to upgrade!
I’m loving my Stitch Fix Parvin Reversible Tote that came in my June fix. It pulls double duty because it reverses to a creamy white. It came with a makeup case and it’s perfect for throwing all my Mom things in. I can carry a half dozen hot wheels cars, some diapers and wipes, a 2 day old sippy cup and a plastic Target bag filled with items to be returned in this mother of all totes. And I’m loving the tassel detail.
